These two are becoming blog regulars! While I was home for fall break, I only did one photo session, and this was it! I simply enjoy photographing these two. They are now newly married and as adorable as ever. They showed me areas of my town that I’d never seen before, and areas I’d seen so much that it was almost as though I was no longer seeing them until Chamus and Justina walked me through them again. It was a good experience.

Jason and I were friends my freshman year of college, and I was really excited to meet his beautiful bride and shoot their wedding. This wedding just so great.
It was so fun and relaxed. You could tell they just wanted to celebrate and enjoy time with their family and friends. I’m so glad I got to be a part of their beautiful fall wedding. Congrats, Jason and Rachel!

I’ve been fascinated with the way children draw people since freshman year. I wrote a paper about how children can reveal psychological aspects about themselves through a simple drawing. For example, if a child doesn’t draw a mouth on their self portrait, they usually feel like they don’t have a voice. It really makes sense. So for my photography project, I decided to take a child-like drawing and bring it to life.
