spilled roots

Hey there friends! Would you please say a happy hello to Anthony and Sarah? : ) They enjoyed a play-doh picnic at the beach a couple nights ago. Despite the threatening rain, we managed to get lots of lovely shots, and the sun even peeked through for a while! These two are so cute together. You can tell how much they love each other. It’s darling. And Anthony even brought along his guitar. Guitar guys are always the best. Trust me, I know. I photograph a lot of guys. Haha.

Funny story time. See that dude standing in the water? Yeah, 4 seconds before this picture, he came skim boarding down the beach and about ran into my cute, little banner. Then he stood there shocked like that for a couple of minutes. I couldn’t tell if he was shocked by the adorableness of Anthony and Sarah, or by the fact that he almost ran into a pole. Haha.

P.S. I’m playing editing catch-up today at Barnes and Noble with Brandon. So expect some more posts, and drop by to say hey if you’d like!

This morning I ate sunshine. Sarah pranced in golden wheat. We both laughed a lot. And got kicked out of a field by a farmer on his Quad. Someday I’m going to have my own field of golden wheat, and anyone who wants to can prance in it when the sun shines. Anyway, here are a few quick shots of my favorite portion of the session. Thank you Sarah!

don’t touch me

As we walked through the theme park, little girls everywhere tugged on their mom’s shirts and asked who the pretty girl in the white dress was. I turned to Cydney and told her “You’re like Cinderella at Disneyland, except you’re the only princess here.”  And if Cydney was a Princess, then Mike was definitely her perfect Prince. Although… when they rode on the Carousel, he rode the lion rather than a big, white horse. ; ) Please, please, please, future brides… try this out. It doesn’t have to be as drastic as Michigan’s Adventure, and it doesn’t have to be with me, but you should definitely go somewhere silly in your wedding attire and experience what it’s like to have countless strangers congratulate you. Some of them might even try to hug you. ; )

Favorite!

Thank you, Mike and Cydney! And I hope that the pictures match the experience you shared. : )
