poison ivy is green

So we all know I have an obsession with forts by now. So that’s all I’m going to say about that. Melissa and Tanner are wonderful. They are “real” in every sense of the word. They have been together long enough that they are completely comfortable with one another. They are honest. And beautiful. And true to both themselves and one another. Sometimes I sit back with my camera and ask my couples to talk about why they love one another. Tanner and Melissa trusted me enough to actually say beautiful, meaningful things about each other in front of me. Thank you, both. I learned a lot from you last night.

Introducing…. two of my fabulously, crazy brides! :D I simply can not WAIT to photograph their weddings. They’re so much fun to be around. I enjoyed riding around town with them and bursting out laughing at the most ridiculous things. (Kylee is super hilarious). I didn’t feel like I was working at allll during this session. I felt like I was just out on a girl’s night. It made me even more excited for their weddings… which I didn’t think was possible. Thank you, Cydney and Kylee, you two are amazing. You have so much energy.

sandbox for three

Meet my new little buddies. We had so much fun digging in the sand, finding treasure, throwing pine cones into the pond, and blowing bubbles. As soon as little Landon jumped out of the car, he was showing me the rocks he found on the road, and I knew it was going to be a good session. His older brother carried around a log through the whole session. And their little sister was content just watching them run around. I hope I get to see them all again someday.
